Well second year is over, people are moving out, housemates left, some of them left without a word’s notice, and others are leaving within the next week.

So since I have plenty of time in my hands… I decided to have a “do-something-new-everyday” approach, just not to get too bored.

I drank gin&tonic on Monday, I made my own burgers on Tuesday, I downloaded Spotify on Wednesday, I bought summer shorts on Thursday (I never usually wear them) I went to a new pub on Friday, what to do tonight….

Well, I wish you a great weekend.
Hopefully it’s nicer weather than I have here.

moving out after 9 months

I am moving slowly slowly out of Room 7 in Castle Field the student village.
I started packing books, uni stuff, papers, photos and cards.

Oh! Such memories.
I’m such a softie, I’m surprising myself.

8:13 – Worcester Park to Wimbledon
8:30 – Wimbledon to Edgware Road
9:10 – Edgware Road to Westbourne Park
9:25 – Westbourne Park to work (6 mins)

Just received a surprise parcel from a very good friend of mine. It was truly an amazing surprise, something to help me keep on being strong during my time away from home and something to remind me of my amazing friends.

I think I’ve written that second year is over, too quickly – like nothing ever happened. Well, I had 3 assignments. I had to come up with two campaigns, one for MINI and the other one for Bacardi Flavoured Rums, and the other assignments were the usual advertising-agency-stuff.

Now I am ready and free… waiting for next week to start my work placement. Also thinking about moving to London – better start packing.

Decided to come over at some friends because they have some serious work to do, doing the typical student all nighters, and be the good friend I am. Taking care of them, the occasional coffee and tea, cooking dinner, supplying them with energy drinks, and having a LAN party on the dining table.

Joe’s Mac is missing. His dad is in London and they went out for lunch.

I have un-officially finished second year. All my essays and assignments are handed in. Now I just have a few weeks dedicated for work placement and… I consider myself very lucky to have found an amazing company and that they understand my needs and deadlines!

The company is called Totality (www.thisistotality.co.uk) and will be starting as from next week. Last Wednesday I went to their offices in Central London and I met:
- Nick, Fiona and Chris; the people behind the company and
- 2 Matthews, Ryan (and I forgot the rest) – the people from the design studio.

Wish me luck! Hopefully I’ll have time to blog about my time spent there
